Sydney Plays Softball is proud to add NCAA Softball Champion Morgan Stuart as a contributor to our Kickstarter rewards program. Sydney Plays Softball is a new book introducing this amazing sport to a young girl who wonders why so many boys play baseball. Her father explains it’s because girls play a much harder sport called softball! She learns all about throwing, hitting, fielding and teamwork.
Known as a role model for girls in the sport, Morgan Stuart advocates for players looking for their voice because that’s the type of player she started out as.
Her focus is to train defense specifically, but coaching doesn’t stop at the physical skills. Through her online lessons, Morgan guides players through learning the fundamentals as well as building their mental armor against fear of failure, bad self-talk, and doubt in themselves.
Morgan provides lessons with a powerful presence, supplementing softball training with mental courses she has built based on her experience at the highest levels. She explains, “It's not only about mechanics, but also about producing valuable teammates & self-reliant athletes that know how to make adjustments and how to be their best competitive selves.”
From winning a championship at Washington to coaching defense around the country with The Packaged Deal, she has become firm in her belief there is no secret formula to success. Success starts inside of you and it takes work.
Morgan’s online lessons will be part of the Kickstarter for Sydney Plays Softball which launches January 4, 2022, with a planned book release in the spring.
